Aloha! Welcome to Big Island Christian Church. BICC began as a new church plant in January of 2025. Pastor Kevin (AKA "Rev Kev") recognized the need for solid biblical preaching on the Big Island. Much of what goes on in churches today is cultural depravity with the external symbols of Christianity (the cross, baptism, church services, etc.) and Christianese terminology (forgiveness, grace, love, acceptance, etc.).
BICC isn't a superficial church of pseudo-religious entertainment. All our hope is in Christ Jesus as our Savior, LORD, and King. Many would call that "Lordship salvation," but the Bible calls it "authentic Christianity," i.e., worship in Spirit and in Truth! Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, and if one has not been born again by the Holy Spirit through the washing of the WORD, they will not submit to Him as the KING of kings and LORD of lords. King Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’"
We invite you to come and heart the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven given by which people can be saved! His is the only way, truth, and life, and no one comes to the Father but through Him. Come worship with us on Sunday mornings at 10am!
